L’Oreal beauty brand NYX Professional Makeup announced GORJS, the world’s first beauty decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and limited-edition FKWME Pass NFT collection.
According to the announcement, The NYX professional makeup is looking into Web3’s potential to reach more people around the world and redefine beauty via the metaverse.
The FKWME Pass NFT is the key to joining the GORJS DAO and getting early access to all the work that GORJS creators will soon bring to life.
There are 1,000 FKWME Pass whose benefits include early access to GORJS-participating creators’ NFT projects with a spot in the allowlist. There will be 400 GORJS tokens claimable post-mint for immediate governance upon voting systems launch.
The allowlist registration began yesterday and will close on January 30th. The allowlist winners will be able to mint the FKWME Pass starting on January 31st and the general sale begins on February 1st.
The GORJS DAO is to assist all creators, particularly those from marginalized and underrepresented groups, in ushering in a new era of beauty. The IP of the creative work of artists who take part in the DAO remains entirely their property, enabling them to receive royalties.
Some of the most innovative innovators in this field have been directly invited by NYX Professional Makeup to form the first cohort of GORJS and spread awareness and enthusiasm for the DAO throughout the creative community.
By giving the community a larger supply of GORJS tokens than it does to the GORJS Founding Team or Advisory Team, the FKWME NFT gives the community priority.
Over the course of three years, GORJS intends to offer at least 12 airdrops to owners of FKWME NFT tokens. The number of airdrops offered each quarter varies depending on the projects involved.
