Japanese multinational automaker Nissan files five NFT trademark applications for some of its most iconic car models like GTR, SKYLINE, and Z.
The trademark registrations were disclosed by Mike Kondoudis, a trademark attorney who examines Metaverse and NFT trademark filings at the USPTO.
According to the GTR, SKYLINE, and Z filings, Nissan plans to offer downloadable electronic data files for authenticating NFTs, featuring video, images, artwork, tickets, audio, sounds, music, and trading cards.
It also plans to launch downloadable computer software as a digital wallet and online NFT marketplace for authorizing, accessing and transferring NFTs.
