The popular lifestyle and fashion brand, Vera Bradley is foraying into the Metaverse with the launch of various NFT collections.
As per the official website, the genesis NFT collection is now live as it celebrates 40 years of fabulous fashion.
The genesis NFT collection consists of 440 standardized tokens and a second drop of 1,982 unique generative art on the Ethereum blockchain, depicting 40 Vera Bradley heritage prints.
The USP of the launch is its debut NFT collection, ‘Heritage Pass’ which will work as a Mint Pass. Thus, each of the 440 NFT tokens will be accompanied with a physical, limited-edition ‘Jilly Bag’ in one of the ‘four heritage prints’.
The Vera Bradley NFT is available for $82 (0.045 ETH).
The second NFT drop, which is dubbed as ‘The 1982 Collection’, consists of 1,982 generated backgrounds, which is a souvenir for the commemoration of the year Vera Bradley was founded, and will cost $19.82.
The NFTs are available from October 1st to the 2nd for presale for the Heritage Pass holders. But, the public sale starts on October 3rd.
The brand urges the buyers of the special 1982 NFT to change their profile picture background in October to show their support during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Note that 100% of Vera Bradley’s primary net earnings will go to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
