Popular NFT marketplace Rarible announced a new proposal about creating an NFT marketplace for ApeCoin holders.
The proposal aims for a “full-featured custom NFT marketplace for ApeCoinDAO with 0% marketplace fees on the decentralized & cross-chain Rarible Protocol 3.”
The ApeCoinDAO ecosystem’s collections such as BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, BACC, and any other collections curated by the DAO will all be featured in Rarible’s proposed NFT marketplace.
In order to ensure liquidity, the NFT marketplace would also compile listings from other well-known NFT marketplaces, such as OpenSea, LooksRare, X2Y2, etc.
Rarible is offering zero marketplace fees and 0% to trade NFTs in $APE or $ETH, which is the lowest fee among all the proposals made to ApeCoin DAO.
The NFT marketplace would also support fiat on-ramp payments and credit card checkout via MoonPay. Better customer support for the platform will be provided by Zendesk.
Orders, bids, and offers may now be integrated into an Otherside marketplace and other dApps thanks to an on-chain order book supported in the new marketplace.

Rarible seems to be confident in their proposal as it already powers many NFT community marketplaces such as Roboto, Mfers, rektguy, v1 Punks, tiny dinos, MetaAngels, Wanderers, etc.
The plan put out by Rarible is just an idea. This might be revised into a formal proposal and submitted for voting to the DAO. If the ApeCoin community approves the proposal, the Rarible team will implement the NFT marketplace in 4 weeks.
Rarible is not the only platform to pitch the idea of an NFT marketplace to the ApeCoin community. Previously, platforms like Magic Eden and Snag Solutions have already presented their idea now awaiting their destiny.
