As the Sushi 2.0 proposal gets approved with a massive vote of 9.6 Million, SushiSwap announcethe nomination of Jonathan Howard as the new Head Chef. Jonathan will be responsible for optimal day to day management of several functions.
As a Head Chef, Jonathan’s duties and responsibilities entails :
- Defining and requesting an ops budget from the DAO.
- Planning strategies and executing them on the product roadmap in support of the DAO’s wishes.
- Ability to hire or fire contributors.
- Defining performance metrics.
- To Supervise token holder and community relations.
- Assessing team performance on the compensation committee.
Jonathan is a full-stack engineer and a multi-time founder, with a unique background of Computer Science and Arts. Apart from founding 4 startups as CEO or CTO, he has co-founded an NFT studio called Bighead Club where he is also the CTO.
The Head Chef would be paid a salary of 800,000 USD annually on the 1st and 15th in stablecoin. Additionally, the official would get the incentive of 600,000 total $SUSHI vested over 4 years with a 6 month cliff i.e., 12.5k $SUSHI vested per month for 48 months.
Moreover, another perk would be receiving a one-time roadmap performance bonus incentive of 350,000 $SUSHI which will be divided into milestones.
