Polygon &Amp; Other Participants Announced For Disney Accelerator 2022

The multinational giant, Walt Disney announces six different participants with leading Web3 company Polygon for the Disney Accelerator 2022.

The companies include Flickpay, a web3 social media app, artificial intelligence platform Inworld, ‘Lockerverse’ a storytelling platform, augmented reality company Red 6, a scalable blockchain network ‘Polygon’ and ‘Obsess’ an e-commerce platform.

The participating companies will have guidance from Disney’s senior leadership team as well as a dedicated executive mentorship.

Disney Accelerator is a business program designed to push the growth of innovative companies around the globe.

However this year, Disney Accelerator 2022 would focus majorly on reshaping the future of immersive experiences and would specialise in technologies such as augmented reality (AR), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and artificial intelligence (AI) characters. 

“The Disney Accelerator is thrilled to be part of that legacy, and with our newest class of companies, we look forward to furthering our commitment to innovation”, stated Bonnie Rosen, general manager of Disney Accelerator.

Walt Disney wishes to collaborate with such companies to develop new technologies and storytelling canvasses to make an enhanced experience across physical, digital, and virtual worlds while also working on their next-gen storytelling efforts.
