The thesis-driven gaming technologies and platforms investing firm, Konvoy Ventures’ $150 million fund III is set to boost the web3 and blockchain gaming. Konvoy Ventures shall invest this fund in the early stage (preseed, seed, and Series A) companies.
“This new fund will not only allow us to focus on additional geographic regions but also new types of companies and technologies,” states Jackson Vaughan, managing partner, Konvoy Ventures.
Konvoy said in its announcement that it will now grow into India, Japan, and South Korea as it invests in the cutting edge of interactive web3 and blockchain gaming. Konvoy will keep concentrating on the markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as well.
Inclined now towards investing in cutting-edge industries (e.g. fashion, healthcare, and education), Konvoy will also invest in allied verticals. Konvoy Ventures wants to capitalize on the thriving gaming market with over 3 billion PC, mobile, console platforms gamers, per its release.

Konvoy Ventures investments since its launch in 2018 spans across 35 companies in North America, EU, the Middle East, Africa, and South East Asia.
The acclaimed play-to-earn game Axie Infinity is also a part of Konvoy’s portfolio, apart from Carry1st, and Ready Player Me.
