The Shiba Inu team unveils its very own metaverse project, ‘SHIB: The Metaverse’ and the Shib Army has never been happier.
In a blog post published by the team, “Shiba Inu’s Metaverse is positioned to become a massive environment for the #ShibArmy to grow, share, and benefit together.”
The entire Shiba ecosystem will be included in the SHIB metaverse project, with $SHIB, $LEASH, and $BONE tokens that will come to the fore as specific phases are implemented.
There will be 100,595 plots of land available in the Metaverse, with public lands available for purchase and certain lands locked for usage as common land and roads. These roads will be represented by avenues, boulevards, and hubs (corridors).
To ensure that Shiba native coins i.e. SHIB has no downside risk, the team has chosen to deploy ETH as the land pricing token.
The first stage will see 36,431 plots of land unlocked, which will be divided into four categories: Silver Fur, Gold Tail, Platinum Paw, and Diamond Teeth. It will also unveil 4 different Districts: Growth District, Defense District, Technology District, and the Currencies District.

- 0.3 $ETH for Gold Tail(Tier 3) : 7356 Lands
- 0.5 $ETH for Platinum Paw(Tier 2) : 5714 Lands
- 1 $ETH for Diamond Teeth(Tier 1) : 2024 Lands
There are also private locked ‘Hubs’ comprising 4307 Lands. As a service to individuals who are heavily active in the current and future development of the Metaverse, the team has saved 15 total lands for them.
Users who own land in the Shiba Inu-influenced environment will be able to earn passive income, acquire in-game materials, and earn awards, according to the statement. New ways to earn will also be introduced by the Shib team.
2000 restricted plots of land area are conserved for Shiboshi NFT holders. To gain access to the Shiboshi zone, 2000 addresses were randomly selected from a total of 3593.
This means that during the initial Early Access Bid Event and Holder Event, those addresses will be able to bid/purchase with no constraints per wallet, except for the total mint maximum, which impacts everyone equally.
If any lands remain left with no bids after the Bid Event (On the Shiboshi Zone Assigned plots only). The remaining 1593 addresses on the snapshot will be able to purchase them during the Holder Event if this happens.
$LEASH owners will be provided the LEASH LOCKER feature at their official website, and they will be eligible to bid/purchase lands during the first two events. This feature will provide you the ability to gain early access and also be rewarded for that.
There is also the SHIBOSHI LOCKER feature, meaning Shiboshi NFT holders will not be required to own any $LEASH in order to enter the initial events.
With even the meme coins coming out with Metaverse projects the mammoth NFT brands are not here to sit back and watch. The Bored Ape Yacht Club creator Yuga Labs recently hinted at what it seems to be a Metaverse project by dropping a teaser for a project titled ‘Otherside.’
