The Hip-hop icon and NFT influencer Snoop Dogg aka Cozomo de’ Medici revealed that the audience will get to see Medici Gallery at the Afterparty festival. The festival is hailed as the world’s first NFT-gated music and art festival.
Actually, the first-ever Medici Gallery tour was organized by the Afterparty themselves. The Medici NFT Collection Gallery tour was held at Hollywood Hills on Feb. 5th. Snoop couldn’t attend the event because of security reasons.
At first, the tour was announced as a Subscriber’s Only event limited to just 100 Medici Minutes subscribers. Later the number of spots were increased due to high demand.
The Afterparty festival will take place on the 18th and 19th of March at the AREA15 entertainment facility in Las Vegas, NV.
This will be the first festival in history where there are no tickets, but NFTs enabling access. The Afterparty festival is produced in collaboration with Ryan Doherty, Chris Racan, with leading NFT artists, Nate Mohler and Alec Maassen, as creative directors.
Afterparty’s Utopian Collection contains 1,500 NFTs that are going to function as Afterparty festival keys. Holders will be added to a priority guest list and will have privileged access to the “Utopian Only” artist areas of the event for at least five years.
Only the ‘Utopian’ NFT holders and their invitees will be able to attend this mega festival. Each Utopian owner will be allowed to bring a ‘+1’ and will receive two ‘NFT Guest Passes’ to invite friends or trade with, ensuring that the 6,000-person event remains intimate and focused on the community.
The NFTs also grant access to Afterparty house parties in Los Angeles, as well as other pop-up events including NFT.NYC and Art Basel Miami.
Those who do not have Utopian NFTs but would like to attend can purchase Afterparty Festival Passes, which are also available as NFTs in the OpenSea platform.
Singer Sia aka Bianca ‘de Medici, supermodel Heidi Klum who’s also a punk owner, Pussy Riot founder Nadya Tolokno, Celebrity David Dobrik, actor Josh Duhamel, are all some of the prominent ‘Utopians.’
Notable NFT artists like Billelis are going to attend this mega event. At least 20 musicians, including The Chainsmokers, The Kid LAROI, Gryffin, Lany, Sofi Tukker, Bob Moses, etc will perform at a festival centered on the NFT movement.
