Elon Musk has become one of the latest targets for the renowned Hacker group Anonymous. Through a new video on Youtube detailed his wrongdoing things Anonymous threatened Elon Musk. They sent a warning to Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon musk, blaming him for destroying the lives of cryptocurrency investors with his tweets.
In a video, Anonymous has called out Musk for his recent moves related to the cryptocurrency market. The video mentions that recent tweets by Musk “show a clear disregard for the average working person” and that his “public temper tantrums have liquidated the dreams of hardworking individuals.”
Why Anonymus Targeted Musk?
“Reading from the comments on your Twitter posts, it seems that games you have played with the crypto market have destroyed lives. Millions of retail investors were really counting on their crypto gain to improve their lives.” Anonymous group stated in the video.
Recent moves of Tesla CEO show that decisions were made purely on profitability. He has no regard for the future of cryptocurrency in general. For instance, the decision by Tesla to stop accepting Bitcoin payments for its electric cars. Anonymous says that Tesla was forced to denounce its involvement with Bitcoin in order to keep government subsidies.
It states that the company made most of its revenue through green carbon tax credit from the governments of countries in which it operates. It alleges that the reason for stopping the use of bitcoin was to maintain this flow of revenue from the government.
Anonymous also alleges that musk already knew about energy consumption associated with bitcoin mining. And still, he cited it as the reason for not accepting bitcoin as payment for Tesla.
Future asserts that musk acted clueless about this in “an attempt to play both sides of the fence”. Because the supply of green credit money from the government was in danger.
Warnings Beyond Bitcoin
Allegations by anonymous not limited to bitcoin. They also stated for several years musk has enjoyed the most favourable reputation of anyone in the Billionaire class. He has done this by tapping into the general public desire for electric cars and space exploration. This “Carefully created public image,” however, is now being exposed.
“The people are beginning to see you as nothing more than another narcissistic rich dude who is desperate for attention”.
It also mentions young children employed in lithium mines to produce lithium-ion batteries utilized in electric cars. “It appears that your quest to save the world is more rooted in superiority and savior complex actual concern for humanity”.
Anonymous takes a shot at the billionaire, saying that the musk is “not the only show in town” and his competition is growing every day.
The video has 1.2 million views ends with a variation of the group’s signature sign-off. “You may think you are smartest person in room, but now you have met your match. We are Anonymous! We are Legion! Expect us.”
Musk did post a tweet Saturday afternoon maybe in a response. In Tweet Musk simply said, “Don’t kill what you hate, Save what you love.”
