Content creators play an important role in the crypto industry, helping audiences understand emerging technologies, navigate financial markets, and make informed decisions. At Binance, we believe that creators who dedicate their time and expertise to educating their communities deserve recognition.
That belief led to the launch of The Blockchain 100 in 2025, an initiative that combines annual awards with a year-round video interview series. The awards recognize creators for their contributions to the industry, while the interviews explore the careers and perspectives of leading voices in crypto.
Now in its second year, The Blockchain 100 returns with an expanded focus on creators across crypto and traditional finance. Public nominations open on October 13, giving you an opportunity to support your favorite creators ahead of the awards ceremony at Binance Blockchain Week 2026 in Bangkok on November 29.
Why Binance Created The Blockchain 100
The Blockchain 100 was established to recognize creators who contribute to public understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial markets, from established industry voices to emerging creators working across different areas of crypto and financial education.
That work takes many forms. Independent researchers analyze blockchain developments, educators introduce newcomers to crypto fundamentals, and community leaders facilitate discussions and share knowledge with their audiences.
Community participation is a central part of The Blockchain 100. Through nominations and voting, audiences help identify creators whose work they value, giving the wider community a role in determining who receives recognition.
The awards also provide opportunities for creators to connect with new audiences through Binance’s global community, industry partners, and dedicated content initiatives.
Looking Back at The Blockchain 100 in 2025
The inaugural edition of The Blockchain 100 Awards launched in 2025, inviting the global crypto community to nominate creators who had contributed to blockchain education and industry development.
Following public nominations and community voting, 100 creators were recognized across seven categories: Industry Advocate, Independent Researcher, Trader, Community Builder, Video and Live Creator, Crypto Press, and Rising Star.
The first edition concluded with an awards ceremony on December 3, 2025, during Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. The event brought together creators from across the industry to celebrate their achievements and connect with fellow community members.
Beyond the Awards: The Blockchain 100 Video Series
The Blockchain 100 extends beyond the annual awards ceremony through a year-round video interview series featuring voices from across the crypto industry. The interviews give guests an opportunity to discuss their work, share personal experiences, and address developments shaping the space.
The series has featured Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Cowen, Wendy O, Eleanor Terrett, and Silvio Micali, among others. Bringing together individuals with backgrounds in trading, research, journalism, and blockchain technology, the interviews offer perspectives from different areas of the industry.
By exploring the professional journeys and experiences of its guests, the series adds a personal dimension to The Blockchain 100. It gives audiences a better understanding of the people behind the research, commentary, and educational content they encounter.
What’s New for The Blockchain 100 in 2026
Building on its inaugural edition, The Blockchain 100 returns in 2026 with an expanded scope that includes creators from both cryptocurrency and traditional finance.
This reflects the fact that financial education spans more than blockchain technology and digital assets. It also includes traditional markets and economic developments. Including creators from traditional finance allows The Blockchain 100 to recognize a broader mix of expertise and perspectives.
The 2026 awards will continue to recognize creators working across different content formats and areas of specialization, from market analysis and research to educational videos and community discussions.
How to Participate
The Blockchain 100 invites the community to help recognize creators whose work has contributed to financial education across crypto and traditional finance. Whether you follow their market analysis, educational content, or industry commentary, you can support the voices you value through public nominations and voting.
Public nominations are open October 13–16, allowing community members to put forward eligible creators for consideration. Creators can also nominate themselves.
Community voting takes place on Binance Square from October 19 to 28. Verified Binance users who have completed Know Your Customer (KYC) verification can cast one vote per award track each day, giving them an opportunity to support their preferred nominees throughout the voting period.
Winners will be announced on October 29, ahead of the awards ceremony on November 29 during Binance Blockchain Week 2026.

With its second edition approaching, The Blockchain 100 continues to recognize the creators helping audiences better understand crypto and financial markets.
