Linklogis, a leading Chinese supply chain fintech firm, announced a strategic partnership with the XRP Ledger (XRPL), a prominent blockchain platform on August 25.
Through this partnership, Linklogis aims to connect its global digital supply chain finance platform to the XRP Ledger. This will allow digital assets based on real-world trade to be used and settled across borders.
The partnership also shows Linklogis entering the global decentralized finance space and continuing to innovate in international trade finance.
In future, Linklogis and XRPL will work more closely on projects like stablecoins and new supply chain finance solutions. This includes using smart contracts to trade real-world trade assets and combining blockchain with AI in global trade finance. This partnership will help XRPL advance its technology for real-world business applications.
Linklogis Global Expansion
Since 2019, Linklogis has expanded its cross-border business with its “Go Early” and “Go Deep” strategy. They now serve customers in 27 countries and regions and handled RMB 20.7 billion in cross-border assets in 2024.
In 2023, Linklogis worked with the BIS Innovation Hub, Standard Chartered, RD Technologies, and Simmons & Simmons on Project Dynamo, which focuses on tokenizing assets. In 2024, Linklogis became a founding shareholder of SuperFi Labs, a DeFi innovation lab creating new on-chain consumer products.
Ripple Updates
Recently, the long-running lawsuit between Ripple and the U.S. SEC finally ended after nearly five years. Both sides agreed to drop their appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit approved this decision. Ripple and its executives will pay a $125 million penalty for past securities violations, settling the matter officially.
At the start of August, David Schwartz, Ripple’s CTO, also known as JoelKatz, announced that he will personally run a high-performance server for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) to help improve its infrastructure as network activity grows.
