Space And Time Launches Mainnet With Zk-Proof Data Layer

Space and Time, the decentralised data platform built on the Microsoft Azure platform, is now deploying the public and permissionless mainnet. The announcement represents a milestone for the development of ZK proof networking, fundamental for the advancement of decentralized applications to solve problems with the secure retrieval of data in the blockchain.

Space and Time has been developed by MakeInfinite Labs, and the project offers a cryptographic, immutable database to enable smart contracts to query data from different sources securely. It indexes the Ethereum and other prominent blockchain networks to offer the results through decentralized validations.

Through a decentralised network of validators, the platform makes data from popular networks, such as Ethereum, accessible. Space and Time’s Proof of SQL, a sub-second ZK coprocessor that provides cryptographic proofs with each query, allows developers to query this data.

“Previously, onchain systems that wished to obtain historical or user-specific data had no trusted way to do so without facing possible manipulation,” points out Scott Dykstra, the co-founder of Space and Time. “Using the ZK-proof infrastructure provided by this new solution, developers can create blockchain apps that are safe, efficient, and highly resistant to tampering.”

Space and Time has already received adoption and partnerships from key players in the technology and blockchain industry. Big-tech players like Microsoft Azure and Google BigQuery are partnered or associated with the platform, while popular blockchain projects like Chainlink, Sui, and ZKsync are either associated or in the process of associating with their services.

Its mainnet operations are completely transparent, granting the community an opportunity to engage in validator and delegated staking. It meant that in its testnet period, the network had more than 30 validators in such locations as North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Besides the mainnet, Space and Time will also be launching its native utility token, SXT on the 8th of May.
