Binance’s co-founder, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), is once again making bold predictions about Bitcoin’s trajectory, similar to those in the past.
In a recent post, he set his sights on an even larger valuation, suggesting that while Bitcoin may experience sharp declines, these are merely corrections in the long run. He said that the bitcoin price will crash from $1,001,000 to $985,000.

In 2020, he anticipated Bitcoin reaching $100,000, followed by a correction to $85,000. At the Bitcoin MENA 2024 conference, CZ even suggested that Bitcoin could surpass gold’s market capitalization, implying a potential price exceeding $850,000 per Bitcoin.
Today, the Bitcoin price has taken a dip below $90,000 and is currently trading at $87,011, which is 8% down in the last 24 hours.
Furthermore, Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, has said that Bitcoin to $100k is just beginning, it can reach $1 million by 2030, citing institutional adoption and macroeconomic shifts. Samson Mow, a Bitcoin maximalist, has also reinforced the idea that Bitcoin’s scarcity will drive its long-term price higher.
Anthony Scaramucci predicts $200K in Bitcoin in 2025, driven by institutional demand. Analysts say Trump’s pro-Bitcoin stance and the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve could accelerate this rise.
