Update: Tanmay Bhat has announced on Instagram that his Twitter has been hacked, readers are advised not to interact with any crypto address associated to this news
Indian comedian and content creator Tanmay Bhat has announced the launch of his own cryptocurrency, Tanmeme, on the Solana blockchain.
As per the post on X, he plans to lock the developers’ share of the coins and use revenue from his YouTube streams and videos to support the coin and integrate it into his content.

The string “9Pi7t..” appears to be a Solana wallet or token contract address, possibly linked to Tanmay Bhat’s announced cryptocurrency. The token unlock is scheduled every two weeks, with the first 40 million tokens set to be released on March 10.

Tanmay Bhat is an Indian comedian, writer, and YouTuber, best known as the co-founder of All India Bakchod (AIB). He has been active in the cryptocurrency space, having invested in projects like Samudai, CrowdPad, LogX (Flint), and MeanFi. He has also participated in discussions about crypto and Web3 in India, including events with industry leaders.
As of now, there are no official updates on how it will be incorporated into its content. Bhat has called his followers to stay tuned.
However, some users have questioned the legitimacy of the announcement, speculating whether Tanmay was hacked. Comments like “Hacked for sure” and “Why does every celebrity get ‘hacked’ once every bull market” suggest skepticism, as similar incidents have occurred in past crypto cycles.
