Pi Network thanked its committed moderators on Moderator Appreciation Day, observed on the first Friday of February every year. Volunteers serve essential roles for the Pioneer community, helping with everything from platform and troubleshooting to Pi chats and translation to support cross-continental communication.
With the Open Network expected to be live by Q1 2025, the need for moderators has increased. They provide crucial help with KYC verification, respond to account issues, and inform Pioneers of news about the platform.
In addition to responding to inquiries, moderators play a vital role as a liaison between the Pi Core Team and the community. They ensure that user feedback is relayed effectively and help shape the platform’s evolution.
Also, moderators participate in testing new features, providing valuable feedback that improves functionality and the user experience. They have contributed to building Pi Network’s robust, decentralized ecosystem.
Motivated by their moderators, a Pi Network tribute video was released to appreciate the work of these wonderful volunteers. Pioneers around the globe expressed gratitude, recognizing the time, patience, and commitment moderators bring to the network.
