David Sacks, who serves as President Trump’s Crypto Czar, will be hosting a press conference tomorrow at 2:30 PM ET.
This is coming as the whole crypto market saw a massive drop in value with over $2b in liquidation, which affected over 738,000 traders in the last 24 hours.
According to reports, he will be joined by the Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott, Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman, House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill, and House Agriculture Committee Chairman G.T. Thompson.
The location of the conference will be at the Dirksen Senate Office Building that is situated in Washington D.C. and will discuss topics including measures the US government plans to implement in order to maintain America’s position within the international digital asset ecosystem.
President Trump appointed David Sacks to his role last December and he is tasked with developing a legal framework for crypto growth in the U.S.
In January 2025, President Trump signed the “Strengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology” executive order. This has allowed for the formation of a working group whose role is to create policies that protect the markets of digital assets. David Sacks will lead this group to mold the United States into a world leader in digital assets.
