WazirX exchange management announced that they will be conducting the fourth town hall discussion on November 6 with Nischal Shetty where they will explain the rebalancing calculator to their 4.4 million users. The exchange had earlier released the timeline calculator where users were told that the process of redistribution of funds will initiate only from February 2025.
The fourth townhall will be crucial in the respect that users are waiting for Wazirx to reply as to how the exchange is going to compensate them, after the Rs 2000 crore hack that has left it in a fund deficit.
The townhall will be live in a few hours and in this townhall WazirX will introduce the new rebalancing calculator and discuss the interactive scheme timeline calculator. They will also discuss other value drivers that are being explored as part of the restructuring efforts.
Previously in October, the exchange introduced its Scheme Timeline Calculator, which guides users with the timeline of the restructuring process and also disclosed the distribution date which is around 3rd February 2025.
However, these efforts are not enough to excite or encourage the users. As the exchange and Nischal Shetty disabled the comment sections on all their official channels, users are showing their frustration and anger on the X platform.
When you visit the X social media site, the anger and frustration of users are clearly visible. Some users take the situation calmly but most of the users are frustrated and angry.
A user named Kaushik wrote- “No more excuses. Do it or give up & accept your failure. Sell the bunches of things that you have in crypto, give a breath to the millions, and step aside from them. No means no tolerance anymore. @NischalShetty this is millions of fingers on u & U can’t take it for granted”
