XProtocol, a blockchain based entertainment and gaming project, has announced that it has secured $800k in a new strategic funding round. This funding round alone has taken the total capital raised to $5.2 million.
The round welcomed contributions from key players deep within the web3 entertainment ecosystem, including Cogitent Ventures and Zephyrus Capital.
Growth and Decentralization Efforts
The newly secured funds will accelerate the deployment of XProtocol’s innovative Xardian Nodes, which are set to enhance the decentralization and security of the network. Node operators will play a critical role in the consensus process, earning rewards for their contributions.
Moreover, the integration of Base’s Superchain technology in XProtocol ensures a robust infrastructure that is ready to handle the expansive needs of modern decentralized applications (DApps). This technology is essential for supporting high-performance applications in entertainment, gaming, and AI.
Partnerships and Ecosystem Development
Looking forward, XProtocol is poised to expand its ecosystem through new partnerships and project integrations. Notably, the protocol has already collaborated with Wonderverse, a gaming studio focused on developing multichain IP to bring gamers into the web3 world. Another partner, DestinyX, operates as an entertainment-centric gaming portal and crypto trading superapp.
Jason Sujaya, Founder of Wonderverse, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the enhanced gaming experiences that XProtocol’s technology offers. This collaboration is pivotal for introducing more gamers to the evolving landscape of web3 entertainment.
