The NFT, CryptoPunk 3100, sold for 4.5K ETH, worth $16.03 million at the market price. The address 0x705876 is the new owner, taking it from the hands of 0x7b8961.
The buyer initially offered 4.25K ETH valued at $14.78 million on Feb 29, however, a third party offered 4.71K ETH valued at $15.9 million. In response, 0x705876 withdrew their bid and made a new bid of 4.5K ETH. At the time of settlement, the amount was $16.03 million.
The Crypto Times’ initial investigation revealed that they paid ETH for the NFT, received funds from another address (0x159992b850C0EF3C2905CeF037b0B7461a1F04f4), which got it from Cumberland ( 0x70587661c804c72BBa25EcddD8d17B332C984017).Â
As per the sale of this NFT, it makes its debut in the list of the most expensive NFTs and becomes the second most expensive cryptopunk NFT.
