In the latest Twitter thread, MetaMask denied the latest claim of exploitation by Taylor Monahan, a founder of Ethereum wallet manager MyCrypto.
Furthermore, MetaMask refuted the claims that 5,000 ETH were stolen from their wallets, claiming that assets were stolen from numerous addresses across 11 blockchains.
Also, the MetaMask team has launched an investigation to address the issue and found the roots behind this attack.
Earlier, Taylor Monahan shared a Twitter thread about a stealthy cyber attack on OG crypto users, that pulled out $10 million worth of Ethereum. However, she also mentioned that the exploitation is not specific to MetaMask only.
