The revered shoemaker, Nike, has revealed more details about its upcoming exclusive NFT collection called “Our Force 1”.
The collection will be launched on May 10, 2023, and will consist of Polygon virtual sneaker NFTs. These NFTs will pay homage to the iconic Nike Air Force 1 sneaker that was introduced 41 years ago.
The Our Force 1 (OF1) collection will feature 106,453 pairs of virtual Nike Air Force 1s that will be split into two categories. The “Classic Remix” box will include nostalgic versions of older pairs made between 1982 and 2006.
The other category, “New Wave,” will include futuristic versions of pairs manufactured from 2007 to the present day. Each box will cost $19.82 USD, honoring the year of the Air Force 1’s debut.
Additionally, the virtual OF1 Poster airdrop was also launched today. This is to provide access to OF1 box NFTs and celebrate the first generation of Swoosh members. Eligible members who receive the virtual poster will have early access to the NFT drop on May 8, two days before the official launch on May 10.
Nike has also announced that OF1 box owners will have exclusive access to physical products and experiences, as well as additional utilities and benefits.
