The popular NFT artist Mike Winkelmann aka Beeple announced the grand opening of his physical studio “BEEPLE STUDIOS” on March 11th in Charleston, South Carolina.
Beeple collaborates with auction house Christie’s on this grand opening event. On March 11, it will be two years since Beeple’s “Everydays: The First 5,000 Days” sold for $69 million at Christie’s, bringing tremendous interest to the NFT space.
Beeple tweeted “i am so pumped for the entire community to use this space.”
The opening event will feature works from XCOPY, Refik Anadol, DeeKay Motion, Blake Kathryn, Pak, Smeccea, Ash Thorp, Coldie, GMUNK, Chelsea Evenstar, and many more.
Last October, Beeple teased a physical studio that will be an outlet for not just his artwork, but the entire digital art and NFT community. Beeple aimed to hold exhibitions and find innovative ways to present NFT artwork for on-site viewing by real-world collectors.
Additionally, Beeple is inviting artwork submissions for Beeple Studios’ inaugural event. If your artwork is chosen, you get a free ticket to the event.
Beeple partners with Tokenproof as the official verification platform for the upcoming event. The event attendees must hold a Beeple NFT at the time of entry. The attendees must also claim their tickets by February 1st, 11:59 PM EST.
