Leading crypto exchange Binance has signed an exclusive, multi-year NFT partnership with Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Ronaldo-Binance partnership will lead to the creation of several NFT collections that will be available exclusively on the Binance NFT platform.
The collaboration aims to introduce soccer fans to the Web3 ecosystem through global NFT campaigns.
Ronaldo said, “My relationship with the fans is very important to me, so the idea of bringing unprecedented experiences and access through this NFT platform is something that I wanted to be a part of.”
The first collection is scheduled to drop later this year and feature designs created in collaboration with Ronaldo himself.
A year ago, Ronaldo’s rival Lionel Messi launched his own NFT collection called “Messiverse.” The footballer partnered with an Australia-based digital artist BossLogic to design the crypto art with his image.
