Being a Medici Minutes reader comes with its own perks as hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg aka Cozomo de’ Medici announces an exclusive giveaway for the new Akumu Dragonz NFT collection for Minutes readers only.
Akumu Dragonz is the latest cross-chain NFT collection from the Bōryoku Dragonz team. A total of 10,000 HD pixel Dragonz will be available for launch on May 31st at 0.169 ETH.
As Snoop himself is a holder of several Solana-based Bōryoku Dragonz NFTs, he will be receiving allow spots as a benefit.
The Bōryoku Dragonz team has given 50 Allow List spots to give away to Minutes readers.
50 of the readers will be chosen at random who reply to the Medici Minutes email with the word ‘DRAGONZ’ and their ETH address will receive the Akumu Dragonz NFT.
Snoop Dogg revealed this giveaway surprise on the latest issue of Medici Minutes, and aside from that he also revealed which kind of NFTs will go up on the 50 foot screens in Times Square during the NFT NYC event.
Actually, in the previous Medici Minutes issue, Snoop revealed the promotional plans for the NFT NYC event set to happen at Times Square, New York on June 20-23. He confirmed that the team is going to display only 1/1s and genart on the billboards, and no pfp collections.
He later went on to explain in a Twitter thread why he chose 1/1s and genart instead of pfps for the display, saying that in the future 1/1s and genart will attract “Someone who would rather find *one* moving artwork that speaks to them.”
While in the entire thread he doesn’t pick a side on which type of NFTs are better, Snoop did say that people who are in here for the art choose 1/1s, but the pfp collections bring masses to the NFT space.
Snoop Dogg concluded the latest Medici Minutes issue by saying he feels that this year will be turbulent, and people should be more cautious than ever while purchasing NFTs. He also warned readers telling them to never put more money into NFTs than they can afford to lose.
