As of now, The Sandbox has acquired 31 BAYC, 9 CloneX, 2 Moonbirds, among other 500 NFTs. The Sandbox purchased the second Moonbird #9619 NFT for 64.9 ETH, approximately $186k.
The Sandbox will display Moonbird #2642, etc, in its metaverse also adding utility to it like all of the NFTs displayed there.
The rare Moonbird #2642 NFT has a Jade body with Legendary Sage feathers as its traits. It sports a Jade green background too.
Moonbird #9619 NFT has a Robot body with Metal feathers. It has Punk Jacket outerwear and Diamond headwear along with a Visor eyewear. The background is yellow in color and the bird’s beak is short.
This Sandbox purchase happened just days after another Moonbird #7205 was sold for 265 wrapped ETH, approximately $800,000. So Moonbird #2642 NFT is the most valuable one in the collection at the moment with its $1M sale.
