World one of the largest crypto exchanges, Binance announced sponsorship for Argentina’s powerhouse national soccer team and acquired 5-years.
With this deal, Binance acquired 5-years naming rights for all the leagues. Also, the company has revealed to soon launch a new Fan token along with this deal.
The crypto exchange locked a deal with the governing authority of Argentina soccer, the Argentine Football Association (AFA). This is the first deal in its type for Binance.
Claudio Tapia, president of AFA, highlighted the importance of this agreement: “In recent years we have added many important commercial agreements, significantly increasing AFA’s income, in addition to venturing into new digital businesses with ample growth potential. This agreement with Binance meets all the conditions we are looking for.”
Maximiliano Hinz, Director of Binance Latin America, stated: “Football and cryptocurrencies are life in Argentina, so it makes sense for Binance to partner with the Argentine Football Association. Through this agreement, we hope to support Argentine soccer at all levels and introduce Binance, the crypto world, and the blockchain to soccer fans across the country and the world.”
Since last year, Binance has been joining hands with numerous sports associations as a sponsor. At the beginning of this month, Binance revealed a sponsorship TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) championship by signing an agreement with the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
