Crypto exchange Bybit and the Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA) will host a livestream on July 3 featuring five blockchain startups developing applications for disaster response, industrial compliance, humanitarian aid, supply chain transparency, and environmental tracking.
The event, titled “Built for Good: The BGA Incubation Showcase,” would present the latest cohort from the BGA Incubation Program, with participating founders outlining their projects, recent milestones, and future development plans. The session will also include discussions on blockchain adoption and a live audience Q&A.
Blockchain projects tackle real-world use cases
The featured projects focus on applying blockchain technology outside of cryptocurrency and decentralized finance. A lineup of speakers is expected to shed light on the five featured projects: Jared Dillinger, CEO of Bagyo; Salman Masoumi, Chief Product Officer of ALMFlux; Andre-Vanyi Robin, CEO of Plastiks.io; Anas Khitou, CEO of Genius Tags; and Daniel Friedman, CEO of zenGate Global.
ALMFlux uses blockchain-based audit trails to manage industrial asset records, beginning with the oil and gas sector. The platform is designed to create tamper-resistant compliance histories intended to reduce the time required for audits.
Bagyo combines artificial intelligence with blockchain to support disaster response and aid distribution in the Philippines. According to the project, it was developed during Super Typhoon Uwan and includes a damage assessment system used to estimate losses in affected communities.
Genius Tags provides blockchain tools for humanitarian aid programs, including digital voucher management and transaction auditing while preserving participant privacy. Its ClimateAid initiative focuses on disaster financing through data verification technologies.
Plastiks.io records plastic recovery and recycling using timestamped and geolocated blockchain records, generating verifiable plastic credits. The platform says it has tracked the recovery of more than 45 million kilograms of plastic through partnerships with public and private organizations.
zenGate Global operates the Palmyra Platform, which uses tokenization, escrow services, and traceability tools to connect commodity producers with international buyers across multiple emerging markets.
Incubation program focuses on blockchain beyond finance
The showcase highlights projects supported through the Blockchain for Good Alliance’s incubation program, which provides mentorship, technical resources, and ecosystem support for early-stage blockchain startups.
According to the organizers, the program was established to support blockchain applications addressing operational and social challenges rather than focusing exclusively on financial use cases. Founders from all five projects will discuss their development progress during the livestream alongside updates on the incubation program.
Event scheduled for July 3
The virtual event will take place on July 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. UTC and will be streamed through Bybit’s official channels.
Alongside project presentations, the program will include discussions on blockchain innovation and conclude with a live question-and-answer session involving the participating founders and organizers.
