Fujiyama is currently on a 3,000-kilometer charity run to raise money for the school-building project. Inspired by President Bukele’s leadership and commitment to Bitcoin, Fujiyama expressed his gratitude in a video where he emotionally thanked the president for the donation.

Bukele has been a vocal advocate for Bitcoin since making it legal tender in El Salvador in 2021. This donation aligns with his ongoing efforts to integrate Bitcoin into everyday life and use it for positive change.

Despite some challenges with Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador, Bukele remains committed to its future, having recently confirmed the country’s policy of purchasing one Bitcoin a day.

The donation highlights Bukele’s broader vision of using Bitcoin for economic development and humanitarian causes.

As Bitcoin continues to rise in value, this contribution will play a crucial role in helping Honduran communities through education.
