The Sui Foundation, the group responsible for the layer-1 blockchain Sui valued at $2 billion, has partnered with Stork, an off-chain data feed oracle.

This joint effort is geared towards improving the speed and accessibility of special index and mark prices for traders and developers.

Stork will provide real-time pricing data to application developers, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and lending protocols that are constructing their projects on Sui’s blockchain.

Stork is specifically designed for ultra-fast trading, serving as an oracle. It swiftly releases updates for over 80 price feeds within milliseconds. Stork asserts that its speed surpasses other decentralized oracles in the market.

According to the press release, Stork’s live pricing information enables trading platforms to handle perpetual swaps and options portfolios with accuracy, lowering the chances of losses during liquidations when a client’s positions lack sufficient collateral.
