BNB Chain Taps Ondo to Tokenize U.S. Financial Assets

One of the world’s most widely used blockchain networks, BNB Chain, has partnered with Ondo Finance to provide exposure to more than 100 tokenized U.S. stocks, ETFs, and funds. That means individuals on the BNB Chain will be able to invest in actual world financial assets such as Apple, Tesla, and leading funds, on blockchain directly, just like crypto.

BNB Chain is also collaborating with Ondo’s Global Markets Alliance. It has joined a growing list of industry players, including wallets, exchanges, protocols, infrastructure providers, and custodians, who are dedicated to developing common standards for tokenized assets.

The partnership aims to enable individuals to more easily access tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) by prioritizing working across platforms, safeguarding investors, and enhancing liquidity. They also seek to establish the highest industry standards.

Sarah S, the Head of Business Development at BNB Chain, said, “Bringing Ondo Finance’s tokenized equities to BNB Chain is an advancement in our ongoing efforts to expand real-world asset (RWA) accessibility.” She explained that the partnership supports their mission to connect traditional finance with blockchain, giving users around the world more diverse investment options.

Nathan Allman, CEO of Ondo Finance, called this expansion a “major milestone” in building the next generation of financial markets onchain. He said BNB Chain is a perfect match because of its large user base and strong global presence.

This news follows a similar development from February. At that time, when WLFI, backed by Donald Trump Jr., partnered with Ondo Finance to bring tokenized real-world assets. These assets include OUSG (tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds) and USDY (a yield-bearing USDC token) to its platform. Lastly, Ondo Finance also noted, “Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand access to global markets onchain.”
