The founder of Internet Computer (ICP), Dominic Williams, has hinted at integrating facial recognition into its upcoming Artificial Intelligence (AI) demo push.

Internet Computer plans to integrate facial recognition technology into AI smart contracts to enhance real-life applications. This move showcases the blockchain’s innovative approach to merging AI and decentralized technologies.

The Internet Computer Protocol’s AI engine, showcased on ICP Testnets, demonstrates the potential for autonomous and tamper-proof AI running on blockchain. Following this success, Dfinity teases speed optimization as the next breakthrough.

In the AI realm, projects like SingularityNET (AGIX), Fetch.ai (FET), and Ocean Protocol join forces to form the Artificial SuperIntelligence (ASI) Alliance. This collaboration aims to develop competitive products and services against tech giants like OpenAI and Google.

In response to these developments, ICP saw a 1.67% increase to $12.32, while Render (RNDR) surged 1.54% to $10.14. Tokens in the ASI Alliance also rose, with FET, OCEAN, and AGIX up by 2.68%, 2.5%, and 2.17%, respectively, hinting at a bullish trend for AI tokens.
