The popular virtual currency exchange Bitcoin of America announced it has added support for meme coin Shiba Inu in its ATMs.
According to the press release, Bitcoin of America felt that Shiba Inu’s popularity was soaring, so they felt it was time to add it to their BTMs.
Over 1800 Bitcoin ATMs have already been established across 31 states by Bitcoin of America. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin are also accepted at Bitcoin of America’s BTM stores and online.
Also just in March, Bitcoin of America welcomed the largest meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin to its BTMs. Doge’s price rose 13% upon the announcement.
Over the last year, Bitcoin of America has made numerous modifications to its BTMs and services. They debuted their universal kiosks, which combine the features of a standard ATM with those of a BTM.
Their POS system was designed for their tablet program, which allows companies to accept cryptocurrencies as a new method of payment.
A few days back, Shiba Inu announced their foray into metaverse by announcing the project SHIB:The Metaverse. There will be 100,595 plots of land available in this Metaverse, with public lands available for purchase and certain lands locked for usage as common land and roads.
