Decentralized Cryptocurrency Exchange, Uniswap came forward to help donors, who want to help Ukraine by donating their altcoins. Uniswap built an interface that swaps any token into ETH and then sends it directly to the Ukrainian government in a single transaction to help the country in the ongoing war with Russia.
After Russian President Vladimir Putin’s announcement to invade Ukraine, the country is continuously in an intense war with Russian troops on multiple sides. As per the report, both sides have suffered huge losses in lives, equipment, and infrastructures.
Also, this war is creating a refugee crisis in the neighboring countries of Ukraine.
Uniswap stated that the crypto exchange built a new interface that converts any ETH-20 tokens from the list into ETH. The reason to do so is that the addresses shared by the Ukrainian government only accept ETH, BTC, and USDT in the donation.
With the new tool, crypto holders can donate any ERC-20 tokens at any amount such as Dai, Tether, Chainlink, Binance Coin, and many others.
As per our report, the Ukrainian government and NGO have received over $20 million worth of donations in crypto.
Major countries are supporting Ukraine in this war and that’s why the country is getting help from different nations, individuals, and organizations. One of the largest crypto exchanges, Binance also made the announcement to donate $10 million and launched an emergency relief fund for Ukrainian.
