American Movie theatre chain AMC Entertainment Holdings is considering accepting Shiba Inu tokens as a payment method for ticket purchases.

Adam Aron, Chief of AMC, tweeted a poll asking his followers if they should add Shiba Inu as a form of online payment along with multiple other crypto coins they plan to include.

By this time, 118,932 Twitter users had voted in the poll, with almost 79% of respondents saying “Yes.”

AMC is upgrading its technical system to support customers to purchase movie tickets online using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin by the end of 2021.

The largest theatre chain in the world is planning to venture more into the crypto world. AMC’s CEO discussed the option of creating a company-specific crypto token last week.

AMC permitted its users to buy digital gift cards with Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies via the BitPay wallet earlier this month.
