NVIDIA’s collaboration with Apple Vision Pro unveiled at GTC has stirred excitement with the introduction of OpenUSD-based Omniverse enterprise digital twins, marking a groundbreaking milestone in industrial scene visualization and experience revolutionization.

Through seamless integration with Omniverse Cloud APIs, developers can effortlessly transfer their Universal Scene Description (USD) scenes to NVIDIA’s Graphics Delivery Network (GDN), enabling the streaming of immersive 3D content to Apple Vision Pro’s cutting-edge displays worldwide.

Mike Rockwell, vice president of the Vision Products Group at Apple, stated, “The breakthrough ultra-high resolution displays of Apple Vision Pro, combined with photorealistic rendering of OpenUSD content streamed from NVIDIA accelerated computing, inlocks an incredible opportunity for the advancement of immerse experiences.”

The novel Omniverse workflow integrates Apple Vision Pro’s high-res displays and NVIDIA’s RTX cloud rendering, accessible with just an internet connection. This cloud-based system ensures real-time, detailed renderings streamed seamlessly to Apple Vision Pro, maintaining fidelity in engineering datasets.
