The iconic luxury Italian fashion house Prada announced the launch of the eighth edition of the Timecapsule NFT collection on January 5th at 3 PM CET.
Prada has made the Timecapsule limited edition apparels available for purchase in certain countries since December 2019, and the piece is delivered in a special package right to the purchaser’s home.
The event takes place on the first Thursday of every month, providing an exclusive and super limited edition item available for 24 hours only on Prada’s website.
For the first three months of 2023, a collection of T-shirts with rare prints by Enzo Ragazzini from his archive of the late 1960s and early 1970s will be available for Timecapsule launch.
The Entitled INTERFERENZA OTTICA ART PRINT BY ENZO RAGAZZINI 1969 designed in 1969 for Enzo Ragazzini’s show at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London (ICA) using the optical interference technique and mechanical inventions of his will be featured on the 37th installment of the Timecapsule collection.
The poplin shirt’s front pocket displays the enameled triangular insignia of Prada, and the phrase “JANUARY” on the back.
Each shirt comes with a unique NFT that acts as an invitation to become a member of Prada Crypted Discord NFT community. There will be only 50 shirts available for the drop, just like the previous drops.
A Prada Timecapsule NFT holder and their guest will have the chance to partake in an exclusive Milan event, which includes an invitation to the Prada Menswear Fall/Winter 2023 runway show on January 15.
Users must own a Prada Time capsule NFT, be a member of the Prada Crypted Discord, and be validated as a holder in the Discord in order to take part in the drop and see the runway show.
