The renowned crypto artist XCOPY is setting new milestones in the NFT space as his MAX PAIN open edition NFT collects $23M worth of sales.
XCOPY dropped MAX PAIN and Frens NFT collection in his latest collaboration with Nifty Gateway. MAX PAIN NFT is a part of that collection which was available for $1 ETH each, approximately $3108.
The open edition was available to all users and they could mint any number of copies they want in the given time interval.
The sale began on March 24th from 6.30 EST till 6.40 EST. A total of 7394 editions were sold in those 10 minutes so that brings in a total of $23M profit for MAX PAIN alone.
The piece is currently held by 5275 unique owners, and there are almost 147 secondary sales already.
A small portion of the NFT Twitter community were not happy with XCOPY pricing of the NFT. XCOPY did give a witty reply to one such angry user!!
Last year, when XCOPY did an open edition last year there were 870 buyers. So now the numbers crossing 7000 on his latest drop surely proves the impact of his work on this sector.
