A community-driven web3 gaming startup, Planetarium Labs, raises $32 million in a Series A funding. The funds shall enable development of essential tools to fuel community-powered gaming and player governance, enriching the web3 gaming ecosystem, per co-founder and CEO Kijun Seo.
The Planetarium Labs’ Series A funding round was led by Animoca Brands. Krust Universe, WeMade, and Samsung Next also invested in Planetarium Labs’ series A funding round.

South Korean Planetarium Labs is developing gaming infrastructure on the Libplanet blockchain. The Libplanet blockchain offers a platform to players for participating in the game network, furthering open-source development by the community.

Planetarium Labs is actively partnering with gaming studios in the Asia-Pacific to develop multiple community-powered projects. Planetarium Labs is enhancing the decentralized gaming ecosystem. It is also fuelling growth via ecosystem funds and community support programs, to increase participation.
