Meme coins like BONK and PEPE are struggling to hold gains, even as many altcoins are on the rise. These meme tokens have slowed down after a short period of excitement.
Ethereum has jumped by nearly 9% over the past few days. This has helped other coins like Solana and XRP climb higher. But BONK and PEPE are not keeping up. Their prices have either stayed flat or moved slightly down.
Ethereum just went above $3,600, the highest it has been in weeks, according to CoinMarketCap. This made many in the crypto market feel more hopeful. Now, some traders are looking at coins that are growing steadily and have good long-term plans.
BONK got people talking after news came out that many of its tokens were destroyed. Its price jumped over 12% in one day and hit $0.000040 for a short time. But the rise didn’t last, and it’s now back down to around $0.000035. Besides, FARTCOIN price is also down 3.64% in the past 24 hours.
PEPE went up about 6% when Ethereum’s price got better. But after that, it hasn’t really changed. Traders aren’t sure what will happen next because there haven’t been any new updates or news.
Meme coins still have supporters, but they’re not going up like before. Now, most of the growth is from coins with real use, strong projects, and more people behind them.
Right now, BONK and PEPE need something new to get people interested again. If not, they might stay low while other coins keep going up.
