Police Complaint Filed For Wazirx $230M Cyber Theft

After 20 days of uncertainty following the cyber attack of over $230 million (₹2000 Cr) on WazirX’s multisig wallet, a police complaint has been officially registered.

The FIR, filed on August 5, 2024, at the PS Special Cell, PS Lodhi Colony, New Delhi, has been processed through Intelligence Fusion & Strategic Operations (IFSO) of Delhi Police under the BNS & IT Act. This significant step comes as several thousand crore in investor funds remain in limbo.
