A leading financial technology firm, Circle, has successfully completed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit, showcasing its strong security measures and commitment to protecting client data over time.

This audit, endorsed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), evaluates Circle’s security controls over time, highlighting its ongoing dedication to data protection.

Marlys Rodgers, Circle’s Chief Information Security Officer, said, “This achievement underscores Circle’s unwavering commitment to protecting our customers’ assets and maintaining the security of their personal and financial data.”

The audit, covering 100+ security, confidentiality, and system availability controls, reaffirms Circle’s commitment to secure operations, enhancing trust among users and regulators.

Additionally, Circle is expanding its regulatory footprint in the EU, selecting France as its regulatory and operational hub under the MiCA framework. This decision aligns with France’s crypto-friendly environment and active regulatory stance, positioning Circle for further growth.

Circle’s strategic partnerships, such as with BlackRock for smart contract functionality, showcase its integration of digital assets into traditional finance, advancing cryptocurrency adoption.
