Worldcoin Sees Explosive Growth, Reaches 10M Users

Worldcoin, a cryptocurrency project with the ambition of a basic income program (UBI), is undergoing runaway growth. Launched in June 2023, the project has already exceeded 10 million registered uses on its World App and averages 2 million daily sign-ups.

They exceed this objective by reaching and sustaining a daily number of monthly app users in a corresponding time frame.

World App passes users’ bio through iris scans from office machines called “orbs” in person. Remco Bloemen, the head of blockchain at the Worldcoin Foundation, emphasizes that World App is not the only solution. They push other developers who are developing wallets to introduce different wallets and features that will satisfy customer demands that may vary from one another.

A heart-warming Kenya story came to the daylights a few days ago. One Worldcoin user came out expressing the joy of being able to purchase a goat using the free tokens he got on his Worldcoin airdrop.

The crypto community flocked around the individual, contributing an undisclosed amount of cryptocurrency, which they used to purchase additional goats, bringing their total to “13 and (more) goats”.

The first goat, named Sam after Worldcoin co-founder Sam Altman, symbolizes the project’s future impact on livelihoods.
