Sam Altman Returns As Ceo Of Openai

In a recent blog post, OpenAI announced that Sam Altman will be returning as CEO. Altman previously served as CEO from 2015 to 2019, and will now lead the company alongside a new initial board of directors that includes Bret Taylor (Chair), Larry Summers, and Adam D’Angelo.

Altman’s return comes at a time of significant growth and change for OpenAI. The company has made major strides in developing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, and is now focused on ensuring that these technologies are used safely and responsibly.

The new board of directors brings a wealth of experience to OpenAI. Taylor is the co-founder and CEO of Salesforce, Summers is a former U.S. Treasury Secretary, and D’Angelo is the CEO of Pinterest.

With Altman’s leadership and the guidance of the new board, OpenAI is well-positioned to continue its work on developing and deploying AI technologies that benefit humanity.
