Ripple Cto David Schwartz Warns Against Xrp Scams

The price of an XRP increased by almost 100% in just one day, rising from $0.469 to $0.938. This happened because a court ruled that XRP is not a security, which brought a lot of attention to the XRP scam.

However, with the increased popularity and excitement around XRP, there is also a risk of scams. The Chief Technology Officer of Ripple  David Schwartz, the company behind XRP, warned investors about this.

“A lot of scammers are taking advantage of the recent good news to try to cheat and steal. There are no airdrops, giveaways, or special offers associated with this ruling.”

In another incident, a popular YouTube channel with millions of subscribers was hacked to promote XRP scams. Luckily, the channel owner was able to regain control of the account with the help of YouTube.

So, while the court ruling was good news for XRP, investors need to be cautious and avoid falling for scams or giving their money to fraudsters.
