NFT giant Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) shares a glimpse of the mech types of the HV-MTL NFT collection which is crucial for the upcoming gameplay.
“HV-MTL just landed in the BAYC swamp. 30,000 curious machines from another world. Armed and dangerous they’re here to…wait, is that a hotdog cannon?” the website notes.
The brand-new phase titled “It Came Through the Rift” is scheduled to happen in April with the game launch expected in May.
BAYC claims there are eight different HV-Types and countless different trait combinations with each having its own skills, personality, and roles. But one thing to be noted: they’re all designed to transform.
The eight mech types are derived from eight Power Sources in the collection. During the HV-MTL Forge, HV-MTL holders will have to make decisions that will affect their mech types.

- Bio: 5999
- Knight: 4999
- Celestial: 2999
- Reaver: 998
- Holo: 248
- Legendary: 1
Holders of the HV-MTL Forge can construct and modify their space in a workshop that gets their HVs ready for evolution.
“How your HV evolves is largely up to you, but will never go against its nature,” BAYC added.

The HV-MTL collection is made up of 30,000 Mechs derived from 8 different Power Source types. The floor price of HV-MTL is currently 2.248 ETH on OpenSea.
