eBay’s NFT Marketplace ‘KnownOrigin’ released Smart Contract

In the KnownOrigin beta release test, the creators successfully deployed 80 smart contracts as well as 250 non-fungible tokens.

Ebay'S Nft Marketplace ‘Knownorigin’ Released Smart Contract

On 16 February, the e-commerce leader eBay’s non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, KnownOrigin, announced on Twitter the launch of a creator smart contract for artists.  

KnownOrigin artistic community of creators has been testing interesting new creator smart contracts as part of the Beta release for the past few weeks. So far, it has deployed 84 contracts and 250 NFTs have been published. Following ahead, NFT artists will be able to diversify earnings and also earn royalties as co-creators. 

Moreover, verified creators of KnownOrigin can deploy and mint NFTs on their own contract from 24th February without coding expertise for deployment. 

In June 2022, the global e-commerce leader eBay officially announced the acquisition of the ‘KnownOrigin’ for an undiscounted sum.  

Since May 2021, eBay has allowed non-fungible-token listings on its acquired marketplace. Although, blockchain technology has not yet been incorporated by businesses to facilitate the transfer or cryptocurrency-based sales on its platform. 

Moreover, as a part of the release, KnownOrigin has partnered with Deadfallaz to release “Draw The Undead Season 2,” which is made up of officially approved derivative works.
