Tech giant Amazon launches new documentary series NFTMe showcasing artists, collectors, and industry professionals sharing their experiences with NFTs and how it has positively changed their daily lives.
NFTMe is now available on Amazon Prime in the United States and the United Kingdom, and the series will expand worldwide to other broadcasters in 2023.
The NFTMe documentary series is created by award-winning director Jonny Caplan, the CEO & Co-Founder of Tech Talk Media. The production began in 2019 and had to be altered because of COVID-19 constraints, which included bringing in A.I. robots outfitted with LiDar sensors, allowing the director to move remotely, direct, and communicate.
Tech Talk stated, “NFTMe intends to be the MTV of NFTs, providing the default go-to for information on NFTs in a clear, understandable, and effective way, enabling viewers to absorb the plethora of terminology, diversity, and opportunity in the Web3 realm, whilst experiencing the culture, the mood, the style, and the energy.”
NFTMe introduces 50 NFT pioneers from four continents in six 30-minute episodes, including American singer Susaye Greene of The Supremes, Queen Diambi Kabatusuila of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Refik Anadol, a digital artist for SpaceX and NASA, Peter Rafelson, Madonna’s music producer, and Cheryl Douglas of Portion, who launched NFT collections for the Black-Eyed Peas.
Influencers dissect NFTs and blockchain technology in the first episode, which also examines the NFT community and the journeys of various individuals through digital culture. Queen Diambi of the Congo also discusses the Web3 mindset of her tribes.
The second episode explores how Eminem’s request from 20 years ago inspired an NFT journey and how Refik Anadol is collaborating with NASA to create art.
The subsequent episodes look at tokenization in the music industry, metaverse disruption, how firms collaborate with NFTs to reach new audiences, and how NFTs are helping to discover and give a platform to artists.
