In an official announcement, the Chainlink protocol said that it will not support forked versions of the Ethereum blockchain, including proof-of-work (PoW) forks, post The Merge. The protocol is aligning itself with the Ethereum Foundation and the Ethereum community’s decision.
It will provide its services on the Ethereum blockchain during and after The Merge. Chainlink will, however, transition all of its Ethereum operations from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake (PoS).
