The largest food and beverage company, popularly known for its cereals and baby food, Nestlé wants to honor the debut of the TRIX® Breakfast Cereal brand in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through its first NFTs on OpenSea.
The collection “THE TRIX® GLOBE” has two NFTs depicting a glass ball with Dubai’s “Burj Khalifa” and “Museum of Future” skyline with the new breakfast cereal brand within. It features the brand icon ‘The TRIX® Rabbit’.
The bidding on these two NFTs is running from March 18 to May 13 with a starting bid price of 0.1 ETH, and all of its proceeds will go to the humanitarian organization Emirates Red Crescent.

Food and beverage companies do not want to be left behind in recognizing new ways to engage with customers via the metaverse. Even Starbucks is eyeing to cash on NFTs. Recently, its interim CEO Howard Schultz announced that it is gearing up to enter the NFT world before the end of the calendar year.
